Please note that Year 1 is the Christian Worker’s Certificate which is also the first year of the Certificate of Ministry (a three-year course). We are offering the full selction of second semester classes for the Year 1 certificate, and a selection of Year 3 subjects as well, which you'll find the third year classes at the end of this article.
All classes are conducted online in real time with live attendance required. Please contact us about attending on campus. Registration is due by July 19th, 2024.
Textbooks should be purchased before the start of class whenever possible and are the responsibility of the student unless specifically stated that the college supplies the textbooks.

English Grammar and Introduction to Biblical Languages (Year 1)

Subject Description:
English Grammar is intended to give the student the necessary skills in English grammar to effectively study the truths given in Scripture. These English grammar skills are also necessary for all other Bible college subjects, especially Bible Study Methods, Hermeneutics, and Biblical Languages. This subject runs during Term 3.
Introduction to Biblical Languages is intended to give the student a grasp of the basics of the Hebrew and Greek languages used in the writing of the Scriptures. It is designed to give enough exposure to working with language that the student can make a clear determination of which major should be pursued in the second and third years of study. This subject runs during Term 4 and English Grammar is a prerequisite.

Subject Description:
This subject is designed to develop the skills required to effectively teach in all areas of ministry. Principles of both teaching and learning are studied. The student is equipped for all facets of teaching including pastoral, Sunday School, youth, and children. Special needs and unique teaching situations are also covered.

Apologetics (Year 1)

Subject Description:
This subject equips the student with a working knowledge of the major fields of apologetics, in order that they will then be able to better defend their faith, present truth, and give honest answers to honest questions for evangelism and edification.

Evangelism and Discipleship (Year 1)

Subject Description:
This subject teaches the student the complete plan and pattern of the Great Commission. Biblical principles and methods of witnessing and leading souls to a personal acceptance of Christ as Saviour are given, as well as principles and methods of nurturing new believers in the Faith. The discipleship aspect of the subject teaches the student how to be a disciple (Christian living) and how to disciple others.

Cults and Religions (Year 1)

Subject Description:
This subject gives an overview of all the major world religions and cults. It covers their origin and history, doctrine, and practice. Where appropriate, scriptural arguments are presented to refute their errors. Insights into witnessing to people caught up in these faiths are also given.

Old Testament Survey II (Year 1)

Subject Description:
This subject studies each book in the Old Testament with the purpose of giving the student a comprehension of the Old Testament as a whole. In the course of study, the student will read the entire Old Testament while receiving an overview of each book, insight into how it fits in with the rest of the Bible, and a basic outline and exposition of the book. Key information is also given regarding authorship of each book, its historical and cultural background, its place in the time line of biblical history, etc.

Subject Description:
The focus in this Theology course will be the study of the church, demonstrating the New Testament pattern for independent local churches, and the study of future things.

Subject Description:
This subject continues the study of the structure and workings of the Greek language used in the New Testament with an emphasis on the depths of understanding available through such study and translation of New Testament passages. There is also a continuation of the study of biblical Hebrew, endeavouring to progress to a more advanced understanding and application. Upon graduation it is hoped that, most of all, the student will have a great love for the Word of God, especially in its original languages, and will have a desire to continue the study of these languages beyond college studies.

Subject Description:
This subject continues the work of firmly establishing the fundamentals of the structure and workings of the Greek language used in the New Testament, and expands into translation work touching on key nuances involved. It also continues to build upon the basics of the Hebrew language of the Old Testament.

Harmony of the Gospels (Year 3)

Subject Description:
This subject takes a detailed look at the harmonizing of the Gospel accounts of the life and ministry of the Lord Jesus, and resolves seeming conflicts between accounts. In the process of harmonizing the accounts the incomparable life of our God and Saviour is studied, so that the student would learn to walk as He walked.
