We are offering the full selction of second semester classes for the Year 1 certificate, and a selection of Year 2 subjects. The Year 2 Classes are at the end of this article.
All classes are conducted online in real time with live attendance required. Please contact us about attending on campus. Registration is due by July 15th, 2026.

Cults and Religions (Year 1)

Subject Description:
This subject gives an overview of all the major world religions and cults. It covers their origin and history, doctrine, and practice. Where appropriate, scriptural arguments are presented to refute their errors. Insights into witnessing to people caught up in these faiths are also given.

Subject Description:
This subject teaches the student the complete plan and pattern of the Great Commission. Biblical principles and methods of witnessing and leading souls to a personal acceptance of Christ as Saviour are given, as well as principles and methods of nurturing new believers in the Faith. The discipleship aspect of the subject teaches the student how to be a disciple (Christian living) and how to disciple others.

Subject Description:
This subject is designed to develop the skills required to effectively teach in all areas of ministry. Principles of both teaching and learning are studied. The student is equipped for all facets of teaching including pastoral, Sunday School, youth, and children. Special needs and unique teaching situations are also covered.

Subject Description:
This subject equips the student with a working knowledge of the major fields of apologetics, in order that they will then be able to better defend their faith, present truth, and give honest answers to honest questions for evangelism and edification.

Old Testament Survey II (Year 1)

Subject Description:
This subject studies each book in the Old Testament with the purpose of giving the student a comprehension of the Old Testament as a whole. In the course of study, the student will read the entire Old Testament while receiving an overview of each book, insight into how it fits in with the rest of the Bible, and a basic outline and exposition of the book. Key information is also given regarding authorship of each book, its historical and cultural background, its place in the time line of biblical history, etc.

Biblical Languages II* (Year 2)

Subject Description:
This subject continues the work of firmly establishing the fundamentals of the structure and workings of the Greek language used in the New Testament, and expands into translation work touching on key nuances involved. It also continues to build upon the basics of the Hebrew language of the Old Testament.

Missions and the Local Church (Year 2)

Subject Description:
This subject is a study of the Biblical meaning and purpose of missions which is local church oriented. Issues are examined from a biblical perspective as to local church policies regarding missions and the responsibility of the local church in missions. A brief history of missions will be discussed. Other areas to be investigated are how to plan a missions’ conference, trends in missions today, and missionary agencies.

Pneumatology/Angelology/Anthropology (Year 2)

Subject Description:
The focus in this subject is the study of the Holy Spirit - Pneumatology; the study of angels - Angelology; and the study of man - Anthropology. Class time will be spent looking at the Biblical texts that deal with these topics and asking how the knowledge of these subjects should affect the lives of the students.

Homiletics (Year 2)

Subject Description:
Homiletics is the study of the art and science of preaching, with practical application in the preparation and delivery of Biblical Messages. Public Speaking is a more general study not limited to preaching alone, but applicable for all those preparing Biblical lessons and delivering them to the broadest spectrum of hearers and settings.

Subject Description:
This subject continues the study of the structure and workings of the Greek language used in the New Testament with an emphasis on the depths of understanding available through such study and translation of New Testament passages. There is also a continuation of the study of biblical Hebrew, endeavouring to progress to a more advanced understanding and application. Upon graduation it is hoped that, most of all, the student will have a great love for the Word of God, especially in its original languages, and will have a desire to continue the study of these languages beyond college studies.

This subject gives a detailed analysis with special attention directed to its doctrinal and practical values for the believer. Chapters 1-8 are viewed as “Doctrinal,” chapters 9-11 as “Dispensational,” chapters 12-16 as “Duty.”
