Attendance

We would encourage all students that are able to attend class on campus to do so. However, if you are unable to attend class on campus, then we are trialling electronic attendance. You will need to pre-register for electronic attendance by January 24th so that we may test suitability and connections.

Biblical Counselling
2 hour class

Subject Description:
This subject is a study of biblical principles and methods of counselling people with problems in their lives and/or guiding people with a desire to know how God would have them live, particularly regarding relationships. The crucial differences between biblical counselling and secular, humanistic counselling’s reasoning and techniques will be shown.

Biblical Languages 4^

Subject Description:
This subject continues the study of the fundamentals of the structure and workings of the Greek language used in the New Testament with an emphasis on reading proficiency and translation of New Testament passages. There is also a continuation of the study of biblical Hebrew endeavouring to progress from basics to a more advanced understanding and application.

Ecclesiology & Eschatology

Subject Description:
The focus in this Theology course will be the study of the church, demonstrating the New Testament pattern for independent local churches, and the study of future things.

Harmony of the Gospels
2 hour class

Subject Description:
This subject takes a detailed look at the harmonizing of the Gospel accounts of the life and ministry of the Lord Jesus. It resolves seeming conflicts between accounts. In the process of harmonizing the accounts the incomparable life of our God and Saviour is studied that the student would learn to walk as He walked.

Tabernacle/Temple, Offerings, Feasts, & +

Subject Description:
This is a detailed study of the various parts of the Tabernacle/Temple demonstrating how they prefigure and are fulfilled in the Lord Jesus Christ. This part of the study includes the priests and their garments. The various offerings and the feasts are also studied. The significance and fulfilment of these things in the life of Christ are likewise covered.

Pastoral Theology

Subject Description:
This subject is a study of the practical aspects of the pastoral ministry. It deals with such things as conducting various church services, weddings and funerals, baptisms, practical pastoral care, and church administration.
